So who am I?
I started working in Corporate HR at 17 and spent most of my twenties trying to please my boss. In local government, there never seemed to be enough hours in the day and having a handful of qualifications meant a capped salary and limited promotions.
When I had my son at 21, the situation got worse. Working a 40 hour week meant all I could do was the ‘drop and run’ where I never had time to chat with other mums at the school gates. If I took an afternoon off to watch a school play or sports day, I would spend the rest of the week working late to catch up with my workload.
In 2005, after meeting all my annual targets and being told there wasn’t enough money in the budget to give me a promotion (equal to less than £200 a year) I decided a life change was in order. I handed in my notice and became self-employed.
Since then, I’ve never looked back. I now help small businesses and individuals to set their own goals and achieve their dreams. If you are looking for a new challenge or a change of career, I can help you. If you would like to make an additional income around an existing business, I can help with that too.
